Mexico Flag Colors Meaning
The national flag of Mexico is a tricolor flag, and it has three main colors, green, white, and red, with the coat of arms in the center of the white band. The coat of arms depicts an eagle killing a snake while perched on a cactus.
This is based on an Aztec legend that the gods told them to build a city, Tenochtitlan, where an eagle killed a snake on a cactus. Bellow the eagle and the snake is an olive branch, representing peace. There is also a ribbon attached to it, which is in the colors of Mexico.
